Where It Began

Maplemuse grew from an appreciation for objects that feel tactile and personal — hand-sewn flowers, woven thread, embroidered surfaces, natural pearl shapes, layered fabrics, and subtle color combinations.
We were especially drawn to pieces that sit somewhere between jewelry and textile craft. They have the intimacy of something handmade, but the versatility of an accessory you can wear again and again.
